Pluses and minuses. The location was wonderful; Restaurants, transportation, all within easy reach.
The minuses, however…Our stay included a Friday and Saturday night, and the nightlife noise from the road was truly deafening. Revving cars, incredibly loud music, drunk people screaming and laughing — the first night it lasted until about 3 AM. Weeknights were better, but still… Also, the sofa bed in the living room was almost impossible to operate. You laugh, but I don’t mean that it was just difficult, it took four adults 20 minutes to unfold it, and the same amount of time to fold it up again: “grab a handle” that was inaccessible, “push up” when there was no further to go, and “don’t force it”. After two days of this we gave up, and just left it folded out as a bed, which meant that we were down three places to sit! The kitchen was well equipped (except for the lack of very small cups for the espresso machine), and the shower and laundry machines were terrific.
About getting the key when we first arrived — you are asked to look for “the second building” — on which side? Find “office three” in the long row of doors. I went from building to building — locked doors, nothing labeled “office three”. I finally saw the property manager office, and the security guard showed me the closet-sized wood-paneled room along the row that held the key lockboxes. All this while my family waited in the rain!
