「I don’t usually take the time to review my stays, but this is a must. As a traveler that booked a 5 start hotel, I am quite upset at the inaccuracy of this rating. The hotel is “nice”, but the quality is of a 3.5 star hotel (at most). There is minimal to no WiFi. We were greeted with a “used” glass of white wine (evident markings of lip stick on the glasses). 「Wir waren 9 Tage dort. Wir hatten die Suite mit Pool gebucht und es war alles perfekt. Zimmer waren sauber, Pool sauber, die Hotelanlage sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr hervorzuheben war das gesamte Servicepersonal die sich um uns Gäste beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen gekümmert haben. Sehr nett, sehr aufmerksam und flink. Am Essen hat es uns auch an nichts gefehlt. Wir können dieses Hotel zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Fünf Sterne plus ⭐️」

「My husband and I were due to stay here for 4 nights at the end of last month, however our flight from Gatwick to Zakynthos were cancelled by EasyJet due to a storm/bad weather. The next flight out to the country was 2 days later. This was clearly out of our control. We contacted Expedia to ask for our money back on the hotel booking and the hotel declined to refund us stating their cancellation policy. 「Overall an enjoyable holiday at a good hotel. Reception & bar staff very friendly- more so than buffet/restaurant staff who worked hard but smiled little. Breakfast coffee machines repeatedly breaking down or running out of milk was frustrating. 」

「Our second time staying at St. John Villas, it is extremely restful & quiet, being on the hillside above Tsilivi itself. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. We will definitely stay here again.」
