“This is a big resort so there is little to no personalization. For instance, ALL the rooms are ready at the same time (no allowance for early check in). They have all the luggage in a room that is not secured but you do have access to your things easily. There are many steps everywhere to go anywhere. The pool is a nice temperature and the downstairs restaurant was very nice (atmosphere and taste) but the main restaurant was meh. I had heart issues one night and the staff at the hotel called……

“I don’t usually take the time to review my stays, but this is a must. As a traveler that booked a 5 start hotel, I am quite upset at the inaccuracy of this rating. The hotel is “nice”, but the quality is of a 3.5 star hotel (at most). There is minimal to no WiFi. We were greeted with a “used” glass of white wine (evident markings of lip stick on the glasses). Breakfast is included, but the quality of the food is suboptimal. We went for breakfast the first day, walked around the buffet area, and……

“Lovely Stay, had a sea view deluxe room and it was lovely, Staff very Frand helpful especially Yannis and Eva, granddaughter loved the big pool and small pool, pool towels provided which was a bonus, Breakfast was fine always something to eat and yes it can be the same every day but wasn't an issue for us, we will be back 😀”

Sehr hervorzuheben war das gesamte Servicepersonal die sich um uns Gäste beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen gekümmert haben. Sehr nett, sehr aufmerksam und flink. “Too expensive for poor services and rude stuff”

“Das Hotel war super angenehm und die Zimmer wirklich schön. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Wir hatten glücklicherweise nur Frühstück gebucht, denn das Abendessen welches als a la carte angeboten wurde, hat uns nicht überzeugt. Die Portionen waren sehr klein und nicht schmackhaft aus unserer Perspektive. Wir haben die typische griechische Küche vermisst. Die Zimmer haben nur etwas seltsam gerochen, was aber durch die tägliche Reinigung weniger bemerkt wurde bzw. dadurch überdeckt……

“My husband and I were due to stay here for 4 nights at the end of last month, however our flight from Gatwick to Zakynthos were cancelled by EasyJet due to a storm/bad weather. The next flight out to the country was 2 days later. This was clearly out of our control. We contacted Expedia to ask for our money back on the hotel booking and the hotel declined to refund us stating their cancellation policy. I understand this is a business but our flights being cancelled on the day we were due to fly……

“Our second time staying at St. John Villas, it is extremely restful & quiet, being on the hillside above Tsilivi itself. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. We will definitely stay here again.”

“Overall an enjoyable holiday at a good hotel. Reception & bar staff very friendly- more so than buffet/restaurant staff who worked hard but smiled little. Breakfast coffee machines repeatedly breaking down or running out of milk was frustrating. ”
