“What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!”

“We had a nice stay in this property. Nice cozy bed, smart TV, kitchen (microwave, 2 ring stove, fridge, sink, pots, pans, cutlery, cutting board, and such), bathroom, and sitting area both inside and outside. What makes this accommodation special is the family thatt run it. Melissa is at the front desk 12 hours a day, and she speaks fluent English and is extremely helpful. “Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. ”

“We loved our stay. Close to Monteverde for lots of outings. It only takes about 15 min to drive. We enjoyed our walks with Bella the Shepard through the coffee fields and listening to Coco the blue and gold macaw call for her back. Ken was great and always available if we needed anything. “Casa Guarumo is a magical place! We were a group of 9 (4 adults, 5 children ages 14, 13, 11, 9, and 7) traveling through Monteverde for two nights.
