"The restaurant staff are incredibly friendly and nice. Breakfast was very good. Our room was nice. Comfortable. About a 10 minute walk from shops and restaurants and 15 min walk to the ferry. Coastal trail is about 10 mins away as well. It said it was closed but there were still people using it."

"We had a wonderful stay here! Hersh was incredibly helpful at check-in and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t know all the food places closed around 9pm. Without us asking, Hersh offered to see if he can call the attached pub if they can still make us a meal. We had a lovely meal at the Fitz pub with yummy food, amazing staff and wonderful live music. Highly recommend this place!"

"Bar/restaurant downstairs and b&b upstairs. Had dinner at the restaurant and I had the best fish and chips. Breakfast was really good as well. They had a breakfast menu you order from and it’s well done. Was worried at first since they had live music at 9pm thinking that it would be noisy but they did good job at noise proof. Cliff oh Moher was only less than 30 minutes away by car. Very nice location for that. "

The photos on the website showed a clean, modern, and welcoming environment, but the reality was starkly different. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the state of the carpet. "What a lovely stay at the Water's Country House. Our three children said this was by far their favorite place in Ireland! We all loved the country quiet, starry skies, and the occasional neighbor "moo!" We sat by the fire in the house drawing room and played cards at night. We will be back!"
