"Lovely people and service! The room was small but clean. Within walking distance of the main attractions within the city."

"This is a truly beautiful property. Our room was spacious and well laid out and the common areas were all just lovely. The main dining room, in particular, was stunning with its stained glass windows and domed ceiling at one end. We had dinner here on our first night and really enjoyed the tasting menu, which turned into more courses than was on the menu. Staff were extremely attentive and my daughter appreciated their support as she practised her French -- something she rarely gets to do in her work in London. The property is part of a chateau so you have the vineyards all around you, and there's a beautiful terrace where you can sit for a drink to admire the view. Also, it's a short drive to other chateaux in St. Emilion and an easy drive to other places such as Sauternes and Margaux. Parking is free. We also used taxis and Ubers for dinners out so we didn't have to worry about driving on dark country roads. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Bordeaux. "
