「We had a wonderful week in Cambridgeshire and surrounding. The cottage is so lovely, quite with a beautiful garden to rest outside. Shopping and pub in Kimbolton present all you need to spend a nice vacation. The cottage itself was clean and offered everything you need to cook for family . Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. A code for the key safe was e-mailed and sent via text at 1pm of day of arrival, but we had no notice that this was to be the process and we had to chase...

「Wonderful thoughtful hosts. More than average amenities. They thought of all the little things to make our stay comfortable. Very cute little cottage and great location for our purposes. Definitely need a car though. Really good food at the pub and convenient to have a little store right next door. 」

「The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area.」

「Spacious, comfortable cottage on a quite road within walking distance of the shops and eateries of Oakham. Rutland Water is a short drive away with its famous Ospreys, the main reason for our visit doWater us a very short drive away」

「Great stay but not entirely suitable for a wheelchair. Had to remove the rims from my chair and two small steps inside were a bit annoying but nevertheless we will be back. Booking agent fee was excessive adding almost £100 to the cost」

「Was a big scare when we reached the apartment and found out this was no one there for check in & no instruction sent before our arrival. In this remote location, the mobile connection is bad and I luckily able connected to WiFi in an indian Resturant. Found an old email thread, replied to it and luckily i received a Uk phone number to call for self check in instruction. Felt quite worried at the beginning with my wife and boys and about where we sleep . Not a good experience 」

「It was a very clean and well presented property, owner lived near by and was very helpful and friendly.」

「Good points - very dog friendly, easily accessible shared garden area, comfy bed, powerful shower, excellent curry delivered from next door Niggles - large green light permanently on in the ceiling, flooded the whole room with a green glow that kept us awake. Very thin walls which are not great when the guests in the neighbouring room stay up until 2am, no ventilation (no window to open) so very stuffy even in December」

「we were there with some friends and we kept getting threatened because of our age probably but we assured them that we werent there for a party , they were saying they were gonna come out of nowhere to make sure we were 5 , she also added on to threaten us that if we left late she was going to keep our deposit money our whole stay the was bery uncomfortable and after we left they refused to give us part of our deposit back and although we cleaned the house they claimed that we left it dirty...
