If you’re someone used to the standard hotel (like me) then walking into your room will be an experience. I had a single room with an upper bed - I was not prepared for how tall the bed actually was, I’m 5ft 1 and me standing next to it with my arms stretched above me still couldn’t reach the top of the mattress. For safety and to help you get up, there are 2 metal bars these also are meant to stop you from falling. Next to the bed I had one plug socket and a light switch for the sleeping area this was nice, although there is no shelf to put your phone on and so I just put my phone under my pillow at night. Below the bed area there was a small nook to put your suitcase. Opposite the bed was a desk/ wardrobe area, there was a space to hang up stuff but no hangers were provided for this. Also no hooks on the walls which I found very inconvenient. The bathroom is a wet room with a colourful see-through glass sliding door. Water temp got very hot! The bathroom tap was a cool design but my one had someone’s hair in it. The room has no windows but you can leave your door open if you want (there’s windows in the unit lobby). If your neighbours are loud you WILL hear it. Luckily the people in my unit were respectful once it got late so noise wasn’t really an issue for me. The area is an industrial estate, next to the hotel is 2 abandoned buildings, very peaceful and quiet, 10 mins walk from kronenburg tram station, The hotel done the job it needed to and I’m happy overall.
