“We needed a place for the weekend to attend a wedding and needed to bring our small dog. The home is super cute, and nicely cared for. The kitchen is nicely updated and everything was very clean. Dog had to be taken out on a leash, the fence around the house is good for keeping cows and horses out, but not for keeping dogs in. No big deal, but something to keep in mind if bringing a dog.”

Elicia and Ryan could not have made our special day any easier for us. The property really speaks for itself! Gorgeous! “The owners pulled out all the stops building this beautiful home. The home was stocked with anything you would need from the kitchen to entertainment. We had a huge yard to play family wiffle ball, fire pit for smores, chairs for everyone, lots of parking, and every kitchen gadget needed for a feast. Our families were comfortable, had fun fishing in the stocked pond, porch views for the most spectacular Texas sunset, and easy to get to Splashway. The owners communicated well from the start of……

“This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby.”

“We came here for the peace and quiet of country living and we were not disappointed. It was nice to hear the birds singing in the mornings, sit outside and relax on the deck, and go for a nice walk. The house is very nice and fit our needs. The host and hostess are very nice people. Looking for a place to get away from the noise of the city and hear the faint sound of a rooster crow at a distant farm you won’t be disappointed. Can’t say enough about how we enjoyed our stay.
