"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"This apartment was just right for the two of us (though there is room for more). We loved the covered patio overlooking the neighborhood and hills where we could sit and enjoy our meals. The bed was very comfortable and the host Sibille was so friendly and very accommodating. She has supplied the place with everything you need and more. There’s also an awesome friendly dog who will go on walks with you."

"The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...

"Herwann is a very nice host, the location and the layout of the house are great. Unfortunately, a few things are getting on in years and need a refurbishment. and the cleanliness was also a bit lacking, we found stains on the bedding and blankets. Also the lanai was basically unusable as it was completely filthy. "We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."

"This is a nice apartment in a block of apartments that share a small pool. Other residents were friendly and the apartment is in walking distance of a couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Colombres is in a beautiful location with an interesting history and access to the mountains and beaches of Asturias. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever!
