「In an old rectory, this hotel’s location is beyond amazing. Nestled in a beautiful valley with stunning mountain views, you hardly remember the world you left. The room was a little worn but the room isn’t why you book here. There are beautiful walks to town, through fields and church yards, over a wide river and all with 360 degree natural beauty. The restaurant is pretty good too. Breakfast was included and was cooked to order 」

「Very friendly and helpful staff; the rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There's a nice bar and restaurant for evening meals (fish and chips is quite good). Breakfast is continental, but there is a nice variety of cereals and toast and other items. The internet was quite good, by British standards.」

「I stay away two or three nights every week and this is one of the nicest places I have stayed this year. It is rare these days that people offer to help you with your bags but Toby didn’t even ask, he just picked my bag up and said. ‘I’ll take you to your room ‘ lovely HOTEL and great stuff. I got there late so didn’t sample the food but it looked excellent and I will try and get there early next time.」

「The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good sized, clean with outstanding views over the farm. The sheep and lambs were in the field in front and it was nice to see them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
