Fantastic location. Marina, castle, shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and even the airport bus stop are all a couple of minutes walk away.
Our room (608) was very clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed including a fridge, safe, TV and effective/controllable heating. Modern decor and comfortable beds. There are complimentary tea and coffee (Nespresso) facilities in the corridor which is an added bonus.
Daily room cleaning on request. We only requested this a couple of times but it was excellent.
Attention to detail is amazing. I will give you an example. Early in our stay, we left an empty wine bottle by the bin. When we returned, we had been left 2 wine glasses. Talk about anticipating guest needs - they really do care and go the extra mile to please.
So why only 4 stars for such a fantastic place?
Well, on the first night and morning of our stay there was no hot water. We reported this and it was resolved very quickly with an apology. However, we had the same problem on our last night and morning. This is obviously an issue that the owners need to address.
Also - despite arriving during the check in bands, there was no one there to let us in. It was not a problem for us as we received WhatsApp messages giving us the door codes. This communication was very good and reliable but if you arrive without a functioning smart phone you may have an issue.
Despite the couple of negatives above- would we stay again? - without hesitation.
