"Only 5-star reviews of this property; the check- in was fine and quick, although it was off-site (just nav/map it). The building next door is vacant and sketchy but it is not - the area is being redeveloped. Dining options are somewhat scant under a 10- 15 minute walk, but there are many just beyond that. Parking is free in front of the building and available when we were there, but not sure if there are spaces in the summer, as there is a beach access and club there. "

"Liked the proximity to town and the proximity to the famous beach walks - Dona Ana, Ponte da Piedad, Praia do Camilo. Hotel had excellent breakfast but not much seemed available beyond that - maybe off season and very few people here. Sure it would be a very busy place in the summer. Pools arre wonderul and the setting also."

"A lovely hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Large studio apartment. Everywhere is kept clean. Breakfast selection is limited, although fine for me. Maintenance work continued on main pool so this was closed. People put towels to reserve sunbeds which would be frustrating at high season. 20 min walk into Vilamoura which was further than we’d thought but an easy walk, so not a problem for us. There is an ‘Old Village’ nearby which is pretty with a few pubs & Spar for food. Mainly British & Irish...

"Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. Overall, great value for money. "

"Very efficient and informative check in. Marina Club Suites was a very clean and pleasing on the eye, bright and good feeling. Was pleasantly surprised with our room. Very clean, spacious, well equipped. The pool area was very nice, ample sun loungers. Nice terrace overlooking the pool. Very close to the marina. 15 minutes walk to Lagos old town. Would recommend to family and friends. "

"Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...

"From our experience, NH holds every nickel a prisoner when it comes to the upgrading and maintenance of its rooms. Spacious but Spartan. The entrance door was jammed so that it took a full FBI style crosscheck to get it open every time. The sliding glass door didn't actually lock, fortunately as we forgot the keys inside once. While other accommodations offered free port and various other welcome gifts, we were met with fee-based everything in the room. Having to 'consider' a twenty Euro penalty...

"We spent six days at the hotel and it was amazing. The people were friendly, helpful and very professional. The furniture is a little old but in good condition. You have to pay separately for the in-room safe, which was new to us. But the hotel grounds are fully secured and we did not use the room safe. Very nice kitchen in the room with all appliances, coffee maker and toaster. Also all the utensils are in good condition. A great choice for a family with children. We highly recommend this hotel...

"The hotel was in an excellent location, walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shops. The breakfast selection was great and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. "I had a great stay at Epic Sana, the staff were all friendly and helpful & the property was immaculately clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel. Location wise, there are some decent restaurants, ice creams and a supermarket within 5 mins walk and you can access tennis and padel courts for a small fee. "

"This hotel was amazing in every way. The views outside the hotel were breathtaking. To the back was the most beautiful cliffs and to the left was the mountains and city. And there were numerous walking trails and boardwalks right outside the grounds. The sea view superior room was huge and beautiful and well equipped. The bed was so comfy with wonderful bedding and pillows - firm but giving. The bathroom was huge with a tub and large shower. Huge balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good with outside seating available and a coffee bar and champagne. Valet service was quick and the staff was soooo friendly. It’s a quick drive to old town Lagos. The spa was clean and had a sauna and steam room as well as a small outside jacuzzi and large heated pool at no extra charge. The normal pool was large and beautiful and there was even a baby pool. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay in Lagos. And even a great value for everything we got."

"The service is exceptional, the staff are wonderful and food is fabulous. I would advise booking restraints for dinner via their website in advance of arriving to avoid not being able to get a table. I would especially recommend the Japanese restaurant. We also went to the Sisley spa and had a yoga class and sound bath which was very special. This hotel is 5* in everything. Even though it's child friendly it still feels quiet and adult only. So there is something for families and also adults. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable."
