The property is only 2 mins away from Taj Mahal which at 6.00 a.m. is very useful. Roof top terrace view and breakfast and dinner were great. The guys in reception were very helpful and the price was great. On the downside our room didn’t feel clean and some mammal had dine its business on the mat between bedroom & bathroom. We had to ask for towels and toilet roll and we couldn’t get shower to work. The trade off is a close call, but come on Saniya Palace get it sorted.

The Guest house value of money. The location is very good only 10 minutes walking distance from hotel to Taj Mahal. The non room are small but is enough big for spent one or two night. The service is perfect staff is very welcoming and very helpful. The roof top terrace is really imagine wow. I defently come back to see again Boby who perfect for service of restaurant.

Real India. The view alone makes it worth staying
An amazing experience. Real India!! We arrived very late as our train was delayed but the dude at reception sleeps on the chair just inside the door so after a gentle knock at the door we were in. Quick check in and up to our room(2am). Nothing too much trouble- it was cold when we arrived so after asking was given an extra blanket. Even though it was 2am when we got to the hotel the chat who let us in called me to the roof to see the Taj Mahal from the roof, so lovely and he was so proud to show me for the first time I’d seen it. Nothing was too much trouble and when I said I was a bit cold on our first night I was offered a heater for a small fee. Breakfast was very good- I had a masala omelette, coffee and puri with sauce(Indian breakfast) which was very tasty and reasonably priced. I think my breakfast was about £4 total. The room are quite small but adequate for a short stay. It’s basic but lovely. If you’re used to high class rooms etc you may not be impressed but I would defiantly stay again. Friendly staff.

The best part was the rooftop restaurant and views of the Taj. The views were incredible, however, we couldn’t get our car near to the hotel, and the rooms were average for the price. The bathrooms were not good. Average cleanliness. Staff were kind, but insisted on cash meaning we needed to go out and find an ATM that took international cards - impossible in the area. Had we known they needed cash in advance it would have been better. But it felt dodgy and wrong, would not stay again.

I’m sorry, but this place is awful. I have stayed in places all over the world - Europe, Asia, America, Africa - and this the absolute worst. The neighborhood is squalid, some of the rooms have no windows, the place is terribly run down, the bathrooms are very primitive, the electric wiring is very iffy, the towels are smelly. Its main attraction is its proximity to the Taj and the view from the roof terrace. The food is good and the staff are pleasant.

We had a terrible experience there. Save yourself the time and money and book a better more reliable hotel. We went there with proof of our expedia booking and the guy at the front desk said he knew nothing about it. He simply shoved us to the side and said we needed to pay again if we wanted to stay there. Sorry we chose to leave. He just wanted us to pay again.

We literally ran away
Poor communication, utterly disorganised, urine on the toilet seat and bathroom floor, feacal matter on one of the towels, filthy hair-covered floor and sheets and a door that didn't shut properly. We ended up not even staying.

We booked 2 rooms and when we arrived the desk told us that we canceled our booking but I show them the WhatsApp of confirmation 2 days before, then they told us expedia cancelled our 2 rooms, but we could read our names on their reservation book... Not nice at all, no help! Thanks our Rickshaw Kaiser we found a place and it was really difficult because it was the day before Independence day!

Overall pleasing experience.
Saniya is a gem hidden just outside of Taj Mahal. You can literally see it from the terrace! The staff are friendly and really accommodating and helpful. They are thoughtful and make sure you are comfortable, provide you water and help you with tours and organize with local guides. The surrounding areas are local residential dwellings so expect a community with a little bit of noise of families and children around and the regular rowdiness and hustle and bustle of the real India. Here you will meet locals who are more than willing to help you. Here you will experience local cuisine that is flavorful, clean and affordable despite its very touristic location. Overall a very pleasing experience.

La meilleure vue dans Agra du Taj !! Si vous avez besoin d'un budget agréable séjour à Agra, avec la meilleure vue sur le Taj - Saniya est l'endroit. Les chambres ont un accès wifi gratuit et il y a une belle terrasse sur le toit des plats dernier restaurant qui sert des plats indiens et occidentaux. Saniya peut également mettre vos bagages, pendant la journée, si vous allez visiter. Comme un routard je peux recommander Saniya tout moment !
