「The hotel is very well located in the heart of Lake Placid, just off the main street. Easy to explore Lake Placid on foot. Very clean. Great value for money. Historic building. Great restaurant on site (Redneck). No concierge at the front desk, but there will be an envelope with keys in your name when you check in, no worries about that. We will definitely come back.」

「Quaint New England feel that you will not get with modern chain hotels. Plenty of amenities and very accommodating and friendly staff. They will catch the next elevator or walk the stairs even if you let them know its ok to share the elevator. Only difficult part was walking the hill to our room after having one too many. Very walkable to all the restaurants and pubs. 」

「We loved the history about this property! At check in the woman at the front desk was the nicest most informative receptionist I have ever encountered. She walked us through the history of the hotel, the famous Devlin family, restaurant's, mirror lake, & attractions near by. One of the best check ins we ever had! During check out we interacted with her again & another wonderful lady who helped us with our ventures for that day. Very informative & both were so sweet. We will definitely come back...

「Liked the location. Clean rooms. Easy check in. However, the pool was closed even though it was end of June and it was suppose to be available for use. 」

「The room was clean and modern feeling. Washroom was good with amenities, shower had good pressure, tv with Netflix. Also walking distance to main street in Lake placid was convenient so I didn't have to drive and pay for parking. Check in instructions were sent to me in advance and easy to get into the room. Would recommend!」

「The hotel was cleanish, idk…there was just something about it that seemed to make it look less than. Maybe lighting or the main carpets. The very front entrance had, without a doubt, the most streaked windows ever. The windows five feet later were spotless. Staff and Bistro were great! Probably a little pricey for what I needed; however, I wanted to have close proximity to food and walking distance to activities. I do wish the room had information on all the great locations located around...

「The rooms are similar to small apartments. they have a living room and kitchen along with a large bathroom and large room. absolutely fantastic and beautiful place. it is a 5 minute drive from all the restaurants and shops 」

「Everything was great and amazing. Safe for small kids (my two year old and 5 year old cousins absolutely LOVED it and they had life jackets that fit them perfectly). The lake was very clean as was the beach and overall property. There are many shops and restaurants that are ALL walking distance (I did not have to drive at all the entire trip). The only small issue I had was the A/C in the room was broken and instead of offering a new room or fixing it they just gave us a standing fan which I was...
