“Excellent experience!”

“The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again.”

“Hotel położony w spokojnej okolicy, idealna cisza, zabytkowy budynek. Teren przy hotelu zaniedbany, wysoka trawa w ogrodzie i ogólnie chaotycznie. A mogło być pięknie. Pokoje duże i czyste. Kołdra bez poszewki, jest to mało chigieniczne rozwiązanie. W pokoju panuje cisza. Możliwość ustawienia dowolnej temperatury ogrzewania. Śniadania jadłem dwa razy. Bardzo słabe. “My husband and I loved our stay at Il Poggio Di Teo. Wonderful staff including Alessia and Antoniella who were warm and helpful, with advice or anything we wanted eg we felt like some afternoon tea and cakes and Antoniella provided it to us. “first, I need to mention about the basic necessity - the hotel just simply arrange me a single bed, instead of putting two single bed to make it to be their "Delux twinbed" By the end, it is not comfortable, there is a big gap between the two bed, inspite there is a camoflage of heavy bed sheets on the top. My rating for this hotel is just Bed and Breakfast grade for Local Italian, there are only two owners and young guy who can speak average English, while they are doing everythings for……

“Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)”
