“Given the opportunity I would rate our experience as VERY GOOD. What a find !! Lovely sight of a grand old house at end of long driveway, lovely large surrounding private grounds. Very impressed. All staff very welcoming, friendly, helpful, polite and efficient. Many period details survive. Large elegant dining room, welcoming lounge. Large sun kissed conservatory and terrace. Room was very nice with large ensuite. Thoroughly recommend.”

“What makes this B+B stand out is the attention to detail in making guests comfortable. Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.”

“Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x”

“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”
