「We love the Airlie however there is one serious need. Every room is entirely hardwood flooring and no carpets, rugs, or throw rugs of any kind. If it rains then water gets everywhere and theres nowhere to put your shoes. Puddles everywhere. If there's snow like it did this week then there are puddles from your luggage, puddles from your shoes, and wet socks.」

「Very cozy and unique place. The bed was very comfortable, and the ground was very pretty. You have to be “verified” through a third party to confirm your reservation, which takes some time. I was there during low season. The breakfast area had good selection of tea and coffee. However the bagels, muffins and fruit were a bit sad. 」

「Upon arrival we enjoyed a wonderful greeting and tour from Hayden. The property was everything we were looking for in a getaway stay. All of the staff throughout our stay made us feel very welcome. The dining experience was fantastic. I'm not sure I will ever order duck again unless Chef Dane is in the kitchen and the dining staff for the evening made sure we were taken care of. Thanks again to Michelle for the breakfast prior to our departure. We cant wait to come back !!!」

「Great overnight stay. Brewery on the property. An upscale General store across the street with a cocktail bar and a Pizza Restaurant. Then Copper Fox Distillery, restaurants, shops and antiques right across the bridge. Close to Luray, Culpepper and lots of Wineries. 」

「This was a lovely trip because of the home we stayed in. It had a wonderful ambiance and was clean. Thank you for having it available!」

「We enjoyed Luray Caverns during our stay in Shenandoah. This hotel is very clean and has cute, very comfortable furniture. The place is great and the hosts are lovely and communicate quickly.」

「Very basic amenities. No shampoo or soap. No extra towels or trash bags. If your house accomodates 6 people, the kitchen should have enough to cook for 6 (only small pans, no casserole dishes, etc). Some things were dirty and filter needed replacing in the water system in fridge, and the hand soap in the downstairs bath was filled with water. Other soap containers refilled with different soap, so hard to tell ingredients for allergies. I will say the house is close to a lot of things in Luray...
