"Right on Naking pedestrian walk with pretty of restaurants and shops. Room is spaceous. Needs more thorough cleaning of bathroom grouts and minor repairs throughout the place. Beware that there are about ten steps at the hotel entrance, avoid staying here if your are disabled, difficult walking or have heavy luggage’s "

"I love how the hotel has a stylish decoration and its cleanliness. The staff were also nice though some of them may not speak English fluently. The housekeeping in my floor was truly nice, she couldn't speak english but she tried to communicate with us. We love her cleaning skills that make our room kept clean everyday. The hotel location is also convenience for taking metro especially Line 2. We will surely stay at this hotel again next time!"

"It is a very good hotel if you want to combine comfort and authentic experience. It is located in a traditional Chinese alley, however, rooms are clean, spatious, and convinient. 3 min walk from subway, 3 minutes walk to Suzhou Creek, 10 min walk to Bund. A lot of food options around. From fruits to convinience stores to traditional Chinese food. Quality bedding and towels. Friendly and helpful staff"

"Breakfast was great, lots of variety and very delicious. Staff are polite, kind, and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. Location is not too far from a subway station! Overall, happy I stayed here and would come again."

"It is an old residential apartment building. Some units of it are converted and used for hotel service apartments. The room is decorated with old Shanghai feel. Very interesting. It is an old building, but the room is well kept and maintained. The staffs are nice and friendly. It has a very good location. A big shopping plaza is just across the street with a big food court. Convenient store, drug store are nearby. MRT station is at about 5 minute walking. My only dislike is the...

"We stayed for the Shanghai marathon because of its proximity to the finish line(Shanghai sports stadium) and it was a really nice spot in the Xuhui district) I would 100% recommend and stay again when we return. "
