Desde el check-in comenzaron los problemas: nos cobraron $200 adicionales por una niña que supuestamente no estaba en la reserva, aunque el mismo hotel dejó un pastel de cumpleaños en la habitación para ella. 「The room was good but had an issue with the bathroom faucet otherwise pretty standard. Mattresses were a bid stiff and not very comfortable but overall resort was great The food and options were plentiful and had a variety. Reservations for the Mexican Italian dinners were easy and we did also pay the $20 per person for the hibachi experience which was well worth it. PROPERTY IS ON THE BEACH and no extra costs for seating and umbrellas all included no extra cost for cabanas near pools either...

「There is no beach view. Front desk staff was very nice. Kitchen staff seemed a bit annoyed at times. Food was ok. Room was done everyday but it was clean for the most part. Pool was cute however it was limited to 4 lounge chairs. Only thing that wasn’t good was that our door slammed every time we come in or out of our room. However I’d stay again.」

「No tiene vista a la playa ni acceso a una playa privada. El personal nada amable en general. Nos dejaron sin papel higiénico porque tienen horarios para pasar a hacer la limpieza y uno va de vacaciones, sin querer levantarse temprano. El Wifi muy malo, no pudimos ver nada por la señal tan mala y eso en la noche, ni siquiera en el día. Mi calificación, regular porque no son honestos.」

「I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The hotel was literally steps away from 5th Ave, which is where almost everything is found at Playa del Carmen. Staff at the hotel were friendly. I must admit I would have Iiked the floor of the hotel room to be a little cleaner. However all in all I liked the hotel and would stay here again.」

The hotel is located in a very noisy area, with several bars downstairs blasting deafening music until 2 AM every single night. It’s impossible to get a good night’s sleep. 2.
