“First time at a Riu Resort and i was not disappointed. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There was plenty of great food to choose from their 5 restaurants, pool bar and 24hr sports bar. This is truly a family friendly resort with lots of scheduled activities throughout the day and themed shows/events nightly. This resort is know for its Friday party's. Great choice and will definitely be returning. ”

“We stayed at RIU Playacar and were very satisfied with our experience. The food was excellent — everything was delicious, with a great variety, and we especially appreciated the good selection of seafood. We were given a nice room in building 7. It’s not brand new, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the room was beautiful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and left with only positive impressions.”

“The room was good but had an issue with the bathroom faucet otherwise pretty standard. Mattresses were a bid stiff and not very comfortable but overall resort was great The food and options were plentiful and had a variety. Reservations for the Mexican Italian dinners were easy and we did also pay the $20 per person for the hibachi experience which was well worth it. PROPERTY IS ON THE BEACH and no extra costs for seating and umbrellas all included no extra cost for cabanas near pools either……
