"The room was on the small side, but the amenities were great. The best of course was the onsen on the top floor. Very relaxing, with free ice cream in the evening and free probiotic drink in the morning. They also had free drinks (soda) in the afternoon in the restaurant, and a free half bowl of Ramen from 9:30 in the evening. This is a little bit of a walk from the station, but definitely top of my list when I go back. "

The only critique would be that there are no dressers, not sure if this is typical or if it depends on room selection. There was no iron, so I couldn't press my shirts. "The hotel was conveniently located steps away from the JR station. Morioka has no subway, so aside from the JR station, accessing other parts of the city requires walking, taxi or bus. The hotel is adjacent to many good dining options near the station, and is a 20-minute walk to Iwate Park.
