"Up a steep drive to a welcome that every traveller looks forward to. Warm, honest in a beautiful house with views over the sea to die for. This family hotel treats you like a member of the family and is there when needed but leaves you to enjoy your holiday. We even were given a lift to a local restaurant for our evening meal. We felt totally relaxed and booked an extra night it was so good. We were sad to say goodbye even though our stay had only been two days. We would definitely come...

"The owner (presumably) was very kind, helpful, and even speaks English! She runs a relaxing and casual property, and because of its small size, it is easy for her to communicate with and assist visitors - which is exactly what she does! I highly recommend this hotel to Oshima tourists who are looking for a quiet, soothing place to unwind and enjoy their stay. All staff members are friendly and will help you as soon as you need something."

"The washlet bidet was not working. No change of room because of this issue. It is 15 minutes far which is hard to travel in Summer especially august. But otherwise, the stay and the people were pleasant. I loved the 温泉! "

"The location & private onsen were the only positives to this hotel stay. The area is beautiful and fun to explore if you rent a bike for the day! This hotel however was dirty & uncomfortable. Prepare yourself for stairs because there are no elevators. The room we stayed in had mold behind the tub (the tub was not sealed so the wall behind was getting wet). The shower curtain was moldy.
