"Its a lovely hotel in a wonderful.location,however given the price i paid over £600 per night for their top 2 bed villa i feel the condition and facilities of the room needs to be much improved. There is luxury rustic and rustic and this falls between the 2 and doesnt offer vfm in my opinion. I didnt like the forced breakfast in the room option. 1 of the highlights for me of luxury hotel dwelling in the Far East is a fantastic breakfast buffet. Regretably this offering had much to be desired....

"Kind owner. Lovely staff. Attentive to your needs. You can walk or pay 50 bath for taxi saling anywhere you want to go. Beach front restaurant is perfect place for a drink and delicious Thai foods. Papaya Mom on walking street was my all time favorite place to have dinner. This was my 2nd time on the Island. Last trip was 6 months ago. I stayed 3-4 weeks each visit. Stay 5 nights at Adang Resort. Amazing place. Very peaceful. Love everything about Thailand. HappyTravels. "

"Sam Pita has an excellent location, about 5 minutes to Sunrise beach and about 8 minutes to Pattaya beach and about one minute to the north end of Walking Street. Sunset beach is about a 30 minute walk or a 3 minute taxi ride. North Point beach (Zodiac) is about a 12 minute walk. The staff are very nice, the breakfast was decent enough and the pool was a welcome change from going to the beach. The air conditioning worked very well and was quiet. There was great water pressure in the shower...

"A bit dissapointing as the reviews were very good. No one contacted me to arrange pick-up, had to get my own way to the hotel with 2 heavy suitcases. The staff members were friendly, but failed at pretty much all aspects of service. The beach of the hotel is basically a parking lot for boats, you can hardly see any water, just dozens of boats 1-2 metres apart. Breakfast was terrible. "Cabins were clean and tidy on arrival, the staff were also super helpful, probably the best service we received in Thailand. The cafe on the beachfront was really nice, proper tasty food and drinks. Great location, 5 minute walk to Walking street and right on the beach. When we booked this initially our thought was ‘how bad can it be without AC’ for a few nights. For us, it was a bit unbearable, really struggled to sleep while we were here, I can’t hold that against Castaways as we knew...
