“Terrace Mar was a great hotel to stay a week visit in Madeira. Very easy to walk, catch a bus or taxi. Eduardo and Renato at the front desk was very accommodating. Fatima made an amazing breakfast. We loved the rooftop pool and hot tub.”

“Das Hotel Monte Carlo hat eine tolle Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es geht zwar zu Fuß steil hinauf, ist aber gut machbar. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen und etwas "abgeranzt". Aus der Dusche kam nur wenig Wasser, Fliesen und Fugen sind marode - trotzdem würden wir es wieder buchen. Das Frühstück (in Buffet-Form) hatten wir je nach Bedarf morgens spontan eingenommen, ohne es vorab gebucht zu haben. Der Bereich um den Pool könnte mal wieder……

“Brilliant breakfast. Central so we could easily walk to the market, cathedral restaurant area, marina. Lots of eateries around from cafes to higher end. On a side street so not a lot of traffic noise. Supermarket 3 min walk. Staff so friendly and helpful and serving staff brilliant, quietly super efficient. Room was very good, balcony, great shower. Cleaned every day. ”

“Enkelt hotell med mycket bra läge i Funchal. Plus för att det fanns balkong och ingick frukost. Minsks för att duchmunstucket i duschen var katastrof, samt kuddarna i sängen var alldeles för tunna. Är man känslig för hårda sängar ska man inte välja det här hotellet, men för mig gjorde det inget. ”

She was very welcoming and friendly, with lots of great suggestions. The location was great- right near a small park, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. We appreciated the continental breakfast each morning and the room was really comfortable and clean. Overall, it was a great value for money and we'd……
