"The La Vista Furano is a lovely hotel, with a great location, and a fantastic spa. At the 9th floor public bath, you can choose from indoor or outdoor hot pools, warm pool, cold pool, sauna, and water massage. Also on the same floor are massage chairs with a view of the ski resort and the mountains, and complementary ice cream. "This is a great slope-side location. The hotel gives a 90's retro vibe. It's comfortable and as a single travel I felt very secure and taken care of. The room was large. The hallway was quiet and the mattresses and pillows soft (which isn't always the case in Japan.) It's a little isolated from the outside town, so when the restaurants on the top floor close later in the season, I felt the lack of dining options. The bakery is fantastic and so is the Ningle Terrace. "

"We had a great stay at Fenix West. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious w a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful Mountain View. We especially appreciate the shuttle services to and from town, which made our trip so much more enjoyable and easy to plan. There is no Onsen in the hotel but there is one conveniently in the hotel across the street, which kind of solve the issue. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel "
