"Great location in city centre. On site parking-VERY tight entrance, payable at hotel. Comfortable room, can elect no room service if you don’t need it which is good. In hotel Chop House restaurant had good menu, service and atmosphere. Spa and massage was excellent. Gym room very quiet and adequate equipment."

"Our third stay in the last 6 months and it's as good as ever. Wonderful staff who are so welcoming to our pup. Great breakfast as usual and able to take it in the drawing room so we can have the dog with us. Wife made more use of the health suite and pool this time and found it excellent. First class and we will be back the next time we are staying in the area"

"Only check in took ages for guy checking me in to spell my name, eventually he got it then couldn’t find my booking, when I finally checked in he handed me my card and said nothing , no room number ,no where lift and stairs were , no enjoy your stay, just handed me my card. "

"Check-in was pre-arrival online. Simple to do. Recieved codes for checking in. Quite simple and the lock on the actual room door was automatic and seemed very secure. The receptionist was a nice chap. Friendly and helpful. We had an issue with a blown lamp in the room which he sorted immediately. he TV wasnt so easy to use as there didnt seem to be a signal. We did ask for help with this but in the end just decided to read. Which was peaceful. We used the bath which worked well and was clean and...

"Always recieve a warm welcome when i stay here, staff are very friendly. Rooms are always spotlessly clean. Hotel is directly across from Railway and bus stations which is extremely handy "

"Reasonable hotel but no effective AC, cools if outside is above twenty. Not if the room temperature was, so very stuffy or with window open, very noisy!"
