「Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way. 」

「Fantastic hotel, quiet, had a room overlooking the loch. Lovely walks in the area. Hosts were amazing, Irene and Scott plus others. Food was brilliant. We met some lovely people and made new friends. It was quite perfect for our first break away at Christmastime. Hope to be back in 2025. A big thank you to all. Ian and Caroline」

「The setting is idyllic and the house is immaculate. The only downside was the room we booked did not have en-suite avoid this room if you can. It did have a private bathroom across the corridor and the room was small. Despite all this it still is a beautiful place.」

「I would highly recommend Clyde View. Nigel and Helen were perfect hosts. They were genuine, very friendly and helpful. An excellent breakfast. Stunning views over Holy Loch. A bird watchers paradise. Thank you both.」

「Frances was a delightful host. Very friendly and had lots of suggestions for places to visit. She was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. My room was the best. My bed was so comfortable and I slept like a baby. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Frances. I highly recommend Kip in the Kirk. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. This self-contained unit includes, a kitchenette, fire stove, and parking. Its position on a quiet hillside afford visitors with a gorgeous view of mists rolling down the hills to Loch Awe. 「Very clean and well presented, excellent communication as situated on a one way street, lots of thoughtful touches. The apartment is a little dated, however very comfortable and I would recommend as it’s in the centre of Largs beside lots of facilities. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, no lift. However is very quiet 」
