「First, I booked the wrong day, and the rate was nonrefundable. I sent them a message, and they switched the day of arrival. They could have stuck me an didn't. Classy! The room was great, nice courtyard behind. Front desk person gave me a map and told me where to go. The hotel is close to the old section of town. I even walked from the ferry to the hotel. Nice little coffee shop in the back.」

「Excellent, clean, simple room with fridge and own 3-piece bathroom and tv. Bed was so comfortable. Easy walking distance to port for ferry to Tangier. Parking was the only challenge-finding free street parking sometimes. 」

「This is a great property for you to relax in. The breakfast was great and the staff were attentive to our needs. We were driving in Spain so we could nip into Tarifa town in our car to eat. Without a car it would be a problem as there is very little around this hotel. 」

「This property is NOT a hostel but more like a motor inn. My husband and I made our booking online in a hurry since we were driving and had to stay the night somewhere in Tarifa. Unfortunately the usual front desk staff at Hostal El Levante were on holidays at the time but Rocio and Diego, the owners, were so wonderful and made sure everything was set up to make our check in very easy. As soon as the booking was confirmed, they sent us a message to inform us that there wouldn’t be anyone...

「Hotellet ligger i et rigtigt fint område. Men værelset er uden vindue og uden ordenligt udluftning, så vand løb ned af vægge og loft på badeværelse og det stank af klor på værelset. Hele hotellet var alt for lydt. Så vi kunne høre alle lyde fra de andre værelser, gaden samt hotellets café. Det lød næsten som om de var inde på vores værelse, så nattesøvnen blev afbrudt mange gange pga høje lyde」

「Very quiet with amazing views from rooftop deck」

「There no transpiration to there except taxi(told by staff), 20mins is needed by walking to either bus terminal/ town centre. (Actually just 10min walk by bus 9 or 14 and drop at Alameda Principal, be told by bus driver). The worst is room, it very nosy even midnight, there are many others occupants chatting at ground floor until until 02:00 am, but our room was located at Third Floor!!!!!! And crowned traffic at the morning time had wake me up at 0700am everyday. I can't had good sleep during...

「The property was in the old town section of Tarifa. It was located so close to the port and many old town streets, restaurants and shops. We were there in late January and the room was very cool. But the location overcomes any minor room inconveniences.」
