"Great to be able to stay at such a historical sight. Basically a hotel and museum in one."

"We arrived early in the morning, well before the 4pm check in, the clerk graciously let us check in at 10am. The first room we stayed in was on the “newer” side of the hotel, which was extremely dated, smelled funky and had paper thin walls. However, the next night we were able to move to the original side, built back in the 1800’s. It was so beautiful and really quiet. The pool was very clean and refreshing. "Watch out for the charges on the drinks and others from the room . They tend to over charge you . I had to have them remove 3 items that were over charged. Feels like being robbed . Get it straight people . Please no scammers on the staff for the drinks from the room."

"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. The room I stayed in was okay. The bathroom was small and the furniture was peeling. How you watch TV in the room was a little new which was appealing. "What a wonderful experience! Everyone we encountered provided splendid hospitality and world-class service. The historical building is well maintained, with a wide range of amenities available. The location can't be topped, with easy walkability to all of the wonders of Savannah. And the ground-floor tavern was a blast, with small groups of ghost tours popping in and out for shots and colorful stories along the way. I had a blast!"
