We loved our stay at Hyatt recency Hakone. The staff members are very nice, patient, polite, helpful, and very thoughtful. The free shuttle service between the hotel and Odawara, Sounzan, and Gora stations were so convenient. The hotel room was big and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The onsen was very relaxing and doesn’t need a reservation. W

We arrived to Hyatt regency hakone and were immediately escorted in and were told they were waiting for us. From that moment on, it was nothing but first class treatment from the entire staff. It was an incredible experience and the staff experience alone should make people run here in droves!! It sadly rained (4.5 inches in one day alone) while we were there but the staff was always helpful with information, alternative advice, and wonderful smiles. Would definitely recommend as they went above and beyond.

The staff was exceptional from the shuttle drivers to the front desk staff. The proximity to the cable car was also great as there was convenient access to the amazing gondola (they call it the “ropeway”).
