I recently stayed at the hotel as part of my business trip and I must say that I was quite disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the room facilities were pretty outdated. My shower had a leakage issue, dripping cold water on my head all the way through my shower.
In addition to the room issues, as I was traveling between cities, I had to check-in and check-out of the hotel three times during this trip. A lady in a green gown named Noriko helped me with my check-in this time. Actually she was the only one that was actually helpful and showed great hospitality of all the encounters I made with their receptionists.
As for the rest of the reception staff, I have to say, they are extremely unhelpful and lacking any kind of hospitality. One could even roll their eyes towards me when I asked for some information politely. Their attitude was far below what one would expect of a Thai or Shangri-La hotel. The reception staff showed no willingness to assist and their lack of smiles and warmth was quite off-putting.
